Did You Know

From Our Team

Get Rid of Carpenter Bees!

This time of year tends to bring out all of the unwanted insects, especially those pesky boring bees. We sell two products that can control bees as well as other insects.

NBS 30 is a natural repellent that is safe for any environment and mixes with water or paint. This product is sprayed on exterior surfaces to keep those insects away.

Bee Gone is an insecticide that mixes with water and controls bees immediately. This product is sprayed on exterior wooden surfaces.

Don't Leave your money on the table

Whether you are making plans to build, are currently building, or wrapping up the process, don't leave money on the table by not taking advantage of rebates and incentives.

These incentives and rebates vary from state to state and utility district to utility district. Below are three links for national searches. Select your state and applicable criteria.

www.dsireusa.org
www.energy.gov/savings
www.energystar.gov

There are also local incentives provided by RECCs, gas companies and other suppliers, as well as some for alternate energy sources such as wind and solar. The 30% tax credit for geothermal expires 12-31-15. It may take a little detective work but it could put several hundred dollars back into your pocket. Plan ahead by knowing what is available and when they expire.
